The Continuum
I only just heard about this instrument, The Continuum. It is simply amazing...looks and sounds like the future of music. There are lots of audio files from different Continuum players, one being friend Richard Lainhart who unexpectedly passed away in mid-December, 2011.

Lomax colllection goes digital
Alan Lomax's, legendary folk and blues collector, archive of recordings is being digitized and will available online. Lots of it for free listening! Starting in the 1930s Lomax went around the country, and world, recording all types of music. He was one the first people to record blues artists of that period, like Muddy Waters.
So this is a reason celebrate...pull out some old blues or folk music and spin it!
Reported in The New York Times, 1/31/2012.

I recently relaunched the TouchStyle Publications website but this time the focus is more on myself as a musician rather than a business. Please visit it to find out about groups I'm playing with.

Paul Edwards
I wanted to share a link with the musicians out there, especially the touchstyle musicians. Please take a look at Paul Edwards' website, TouchStyle Lessons. Paul was one of the first Stick(R) players and always one of the best tapping musicians around. He now plays a Warr Guitar, but he makes any instrument sound amazing because of his musicianship, taste and experience. Watch some videos or take a Skype lesson!
